Nigat Maru PDF Print E-mail

Nigat Maru is a junior radio producer for Betengna radio diaries in Oromiffa - Aantee.

Committed to live life his own way, Nigat makes a point of making conscious decisions as much as possible. Because he doesn’t want to regret anything, he believes that the path he takes should be carefully determined by him. He wants to be able to say that all his decisions and paths he took were made deliberately and mindfully.

What he likes most about his job is that it deals with uncovering the stories of people living with HIV and helps not only the masses to learn from but also the storytellers themselves.

The last-born among 10 children, Nigat Maru was born in Ambo town. He moved to Addis Ababa after doing his elementary education in Ambo. Nigat graduated with distinction in English from the Department of foreign languages and literature.

In his leisure time, Nigat likes to hang out with his friends, read books and write articles based on some of the topics he reads.
